HELP US KEEP THEM SAFE!
THIS IS YOUR ONE CHANCE IN A LIFETIME To Help Your ’08 Graduate Celebrate and Stay Safe.
Whether you’ve been volunteering since kindergarten or you never have at all, this is it…your last chance to help the Class of ’08.Your help is CRUCIAL! Over 100 volunteers are needed.
What could be more important ? Why not be there to help ?
The myths: “My child doesn’t want me to be there. I don’t want to embarrass him/her.” Parents keep a low profile at the party. We’re there to do jobs, not just “watch over” the kids. Many of the jobs are out of sight. In past experience, the kids are having such a great time, they don’t notice or care that we’re there. Besides that, without the adults, there’s no party.
“I have company in town. I want to visit with them.” If they care enough to travel for the graduation, they will also care that the grad stays safe, and will understand if you need to take a few hours for the party. They will probably be in bed by the time the party starts. If not, they’re welcome to help, too. We guarantee a good time.
“I contributed financially. I did my part.” Your financial support is very greatly appreciated, but come join the fun. Really, you’ll be glad you came.
“I can’t stay up that late.” Well, who can at our age? If everyone contributes, then no one needs to work more than a few hours. We’ve never heard a parent complain about their participation. You’ll be tired, but happy because you were a part of this wonderful celebration. So pick a job. Early-birds get their first choice.
