Reflections Program

"Diversity Means..."

The 2011-2012 Reflection entries are due October 24, 2011.  The theme is "Diversity Means..."

What is the Reflections Program?

The National PTA Reflections Program is an arts recognition and achievement program that provides opportunities for students to express themselves creatively and to receive positive recognition for original works of art, while increasing community awareness on the importance of the arts in education.

Participation in the Reflections Program is a great way for students to explore and learn about various art forms. Creating art is a valuable learning process that challenges students to use their critical thinking skills as well as their creative talents to create art that supports a specific theme.

Areas in which students can participate:

  • Dance Choreography
  • Literature
  • Photography
  • Film Production
  • Musical Composition
  • Visual Arts

Information about Reflections can be found at www.ptareflections.org
Forms and rules can be found at

“Together We Can” was the theme that inspired the 2010-2011 Reflections entries.
