It takes a village to make this night happen for our seniors. Parents of 9th, 10th and 11th grade students are just as important, if not more, as senior parents to make this event a success! HELP PAY IT FORWARD!!

ANGP Information for ALL Families!

The All Night Graduation Party is a drug and alcohol free celebration for our graduates, which begins on the night of graduation and continues until the next morning!  It is held at South Lakes High School and is a wonderful opportunity for our seniors to celebrate one last time with their classmates in a safe, fun, and entertaining environment. This event is an “over the top” experience for the graduates! In addition to food catered from local restaurants, past events have included games, prizes, and music, as well as a casino, obstacle courses, live entertainment and much more!

 

As the party has not been held in its traditional format for the past two years, we need volunteers to help get the planning started for the CLASS OF 2022! A lot of the legwork has been done as the party follows the same format each year so there are documented plans on how to run each committee. Some of the committee chairs and volunteers from the Class of 2020 no longer have students at South Lakes but are available to help get the planning started. We need parents to help lead and support the following committees:

 

  • Coordinator(s) – Oversee the committees and act as a liaison to the school and PTSA.

  • Activities – Set up contracts with the vendors that have been used for many years and greet them the night of the party.

  • Casino-Organize the gaming equipment and lead the team of volunteers the night of the party.

  • Decorations- Inventory current decorations and replace as needed based on design plans in place. Lead team of volunteers the day of party to decorate the school.

  • Food – Work with local restaurants for donations for the party and lead team of volunteers the night of party to serve food.

  • Fundraising- Promote and run the established fundraisers.

  • Gifts- Order towels from established vendor and lead team to roll and attach ribbon.

  • Lawn Signs-Work with established vendor to order lawn signs and set up distribution.

  • Prizes - Purchase prizes (past idea list available) and wrap/label for prize table.

  • Registration –Promote the party through social media, school newsletters and parent meetings, track registrations in the ordering system, and lead volunteers at the check-in table the night of party

  • Security- Update existing security plan, attend meeting with the county and lead volunteers the night of party.

  • Shed/Truck- Make arrangement with local U-Haul for truck rental and lead team to unload and reload storage shed on campus.

  • Entrance Building- Lead team of volunteers in setting up and taking down the grand entrance of the party.

  • Volunteers- Set up volunteer schedule in SignUpGenus and promote volunteer recruitment for the night of party.
